February is known for being a month that boasts bright reds, maroons and generally a lot of pink due to Valentine’s day, which makes me nervous for “anti-colour” reasons. I’m definitely guilty of wearing a lot of black and currently have very little colour in my wardrobe. I certainly do not own a pink item, not one I can think of anyway. However, I may be softening in my twenty sixth year and as I’ve recently opted for a reverse moon red manicure (I thinks that’s what they’re called, it’s what I searched in Pinterest anyway!). The lovely ladies at Tips and Toes, The Greens endure my unnecessary fuss when it comes to manicures and once again did such a great job! To further treat myself I decided to purchase Molton Brown rhubarb and rose hand cream which smells and feels amazing on your hands. I wouldn’t usually purchase Molton Brown products as I see them to be quite expensive for what I’d ideally spend on hand creams and home related products but pretty nails need polishing, so it had to be mine. After all, I’m definitely that awkward person who spends an inappropriate amount of time washing and moisturising my hands with luxury soapiness in fancy restaurants and hotels. Guilty.
I’ll soon be writing more about Tips and Toes as they’ve recently launched an exciting competition that they’ve very kindly let me be a part of. More to come soon! I may try and purchase a non-black ensemble for the occasion. Maybe.
Love, Amy X
